About Me

My photo
Kathy Dalrymple / Midnight Madness
I became interested in mosaics about 8 years ago. The majority of my work now is glass on glass mosaics with most pieces being in a format to hang as a stained glass window. Within the past year I have expanded to include both multi layer glass miniatures and vases. In addition to incorporating both new and vintage stained glass, my pieces utilize vintage rhinestones and glass jewels and beads. I also combines pieces of glass that I have painted with glass enamels and metallic powders. The newest additions to my pieces are some custom fused glass details. Many of my works are inspired by Texas, and my themes include native wild flowers, the Texas flag, and native wildlife. I am a member of the Society of American Mosaic Artists, the Texas Glass Artists Association, the International Guild of Glass Artists, and the Weatherford Art Association. I am represented by Artisans of Rocky Hill Gallery in Fredricksburg, Texas.
