Texas Traditions

This new piece contains many of the Texas images that I love. There is the representation of the flag colors and star, Bluebonnets, Indian Blankets, and Indian Paintbrushes. It measures approximately 24" wide by 36" tall. The colors are actually brighter than shown here - didn't wait to photograph it in the sun!

"Hill Country Sunset V"

Another variation on the Hill Country theme. This piece will be shown at Studio 2600 in Dallas, TX. It measures 24" x 36". The dichroic sun changes from red to orange to yellow to pink depending on the angle you are viewing it. Also with only reflected light it is silver!

3D Yellow Rose and "South Pasture Sentinel"

The dimensional Yellow Roses and Bluebonnets are a small commission piece just completed.


"South Pasture Sentinel" is also small - measuring about 16 1/2" by 22". The oak tree foilage is created using small glass shards and is very dimensional. The circle surrounding the tree contains faceted jewels and also diamond shaped iridized black glass. The reflective colors in this glass do not show well in the photo.
